The successful candidate will report to the International Accounting Manager and must be highly organised, solution orientated and capable of working competently in a fast paced environment. The ability to work accurately with great attention to detail, with a proactive approach and decisiveness is essential.
The key tasks for the role are to:
Assist the Accounting manager with month end
Assist in various accounting related projects
VAT Accounting
Property Accounting
Multicurrency and multiple bank accounts
Accounts Payable administration
Experience in reconciliations, cash allocation investigation and process improvements
Daily Sales Ledger Cash allocation and maintenance
Ensure completeness and accuracy of receivables
Input data accurately and timely, ensuring data entry errors are corrected at time of entry
Maintain proper back up files, per regulation and department requirements
Downloading bank statements and reconciling receipts
Liaising with credit and billing teams to co-ordinate postings and create internal processes to best facilitate client payments within terms
Develop systems with recommendations to improve efficiency and processes across the busines
Escalate queries and highlight or identify risk to line managers quickly
Further requirements:
2-3 years previous experience in accounting environment
ACCA/ ACA part-qualified
Bachelors degree in Accounting and or Finance a plus
Exposure to US GAAP an advantage
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to operate software applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Organised and thorough; detail oriented
Ability to work independently

Ability to multi-task and prioritise
